I am a teacher and percussionist from Kennewick, WA with a unique professional portfolio. As a K-12 licensed educator, I have pioneered curricula and programs for organizations like Utah Valley University, the Utah Percussive Arts Society, the Skaggs Catholic Center, and the Utah Music Educator's Association. I am an avid performer of a variety of styles and settings, and my performance accomplishments range from the Utah and Mid-Columbia Symphonies to the Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square and Salty Cricket Composer's Collective, and from orchestral and rudimental percussion to the folkloric musics of the Caribbean and Brazil. I have given solo and chamber performances throughout the U.S. including the University of Florida, the Tippet Rise Arts Center, the Salt Lake Cathedral of the Madeleine, and The Hartt School at the University of Hartford. I have worked with Drum Corps and Marching Bands across the country. I enjoy sharing my love of percussion and learning with others and have presented my research at Florida Atlantic University, Saint Petersburg College, the Utah Music Educator's Conference, and the Catholic Diocese of SLC Professional Educator's Conference.

I am currently an Assistant Professor of Music at Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska, where I guide percussion and music education students towards professional and personal success, whatever that looks like for them.
